Toonboy's Review of Yellow Submarine

A cultural necessity. A kaleidoscope of yumminess. One of those films you "have to see before you die." Yellow Submarine is absurd and deliriously British all at the same time. It is the perfect showcase for the Beatles' music. It is one of the few films that can have no plot and less-than-stellar animation and get away with it. This is because Yellow Submarine plays like strolling through a museum of modern art. Or you can describe it as going on an acid trip without the risks of the drugs.
