After having watched several episodes of this I found myself asking why is this deserving of a cult following its utter tripe.

Yes Foamy's rants can be funny but any show can pull off that.
The animation is your typical flash nothing special neither is the music.

This is an alright introduction to the Robin Hood story for children. But for adults theres better films out there.

The villians are pathtetic and to a lesser extent so are the heroes.
The songs are passable but Love is one of my faverite disney romance songs.

They recycled to much animation for my liking but thats only because they had a small budget so I will let it pass.

I remember first hearing about this movie on one my many disney vhs tapes through a trailer. Now like most trailers it lied as it made a 6 year old kid into beleiving its a film about mickey casting spells. Boy was I disapointed.

Now as an adult I can apreciate the hard work gone into this but I still find it dull and the live action bits though informative can be a bit tedious.

the animation is good and so is the music but that dosent stop the film dragging a bit.

overall not a bad movie and it does have its fun moments such as dance of the hours and pastoral sypmphany but I would say give this a watch then go watch the far superior Fantasia 2000

I wanted to like this anime as its always in peoples top 10 animes for noob otakus.

But I can and cannot.

For one thing as Starlac said it is just guys trash talking and then spending countless episodes throwing punches no real storyline thats it. its like if you took Jackie Chan, Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee Movies removed all the story and your left with a rotten clip show. But if you like non stop fights this is for you. I gave it an extra star as this is a guilty pleasure when I am in the mood for some cheesy machismo.

(Oh and atleast this isnt as bad as that terrible live action movie)

Not having seen the Japanese version I cant compare like the other reviwers so I am going to review Cardcaptors as a stand alone series in its own right.

I got into this whilst I was in my "Gotta catch 'em all" phase.
The story is similar to pokemon in a way girl has to catch or capture cards in place of pocket monsters but is slightly more grown up.

The soundtrack supports this animation well, with the theme tune being very catchy. The ordinary girl track is well worth a listen

The animation is your typical anime look of the 90s but is still well designed especially the cards.

I found the relationship between Li and Sakura enchanting and this made the story and the action much more compelling

The selection of voices are excellent and are generally much better than in other productions
