Nice review of Up by Lupercal.  I noticed he hasn't given Wall-E a spin, though.

The more I think about the history of Pixar, the more I've come to realize that Ratatouille stands out as almost, ALMOST a perfect film because it's absolutely nothing like their other films.  It doesn't try to be funny.  It doesn't HAVE to be funny.  It's probably the closest thing to a romantic film that they've ever done.

But Wall-E still gets my nod because of its multiple levels and heavy thematics.

Thank you.  To be honest I have not seen Wall-E. It struck me as a film I probably wouldn't like. I should of course go the extra yard and rent it. I'm just not into robots. As Ron Mael wrote in a Sparks single 'The mammals are your favourite type'.

I have to return 'Dragon' today. I'll rent 'Wall' if it's there.
