At the moment I can't get my capture card recognised by my new computer, so I cannot currently record any footage, either from game consoles - like my master system, which is in storage in the antic - or from my tape collection. Until I can get it working - or get a new capture card - neither 1 or 2 are really doable at present.

3. Haven't a clue.

4. Four: 1 UK copy, 1 Japanese copy, 1 copy on my Wii, and the Master System version.

5. Depends how much you enjoy boss heavy, action-platformers, me I really like those kind of games, so I'm bias.

You have your default head for the majority of the game, picking up various, optional, power-up heads along the way. Most power-ups are on a timer. There only one level where a different head than the default is required to complete, due to all its acts taking place in a shoot-'em-up style.

Welcome back, Inkwolf.  Looks like everybody is giving Arrietty a three.  That's the score I gave it, but I'm still trying to formulate my precise thoughts on it.  All we need now is a review from someone that loved it and one from someone who hated it.

OSCARS... Rango takes best animated feature and The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore takes best animated short... while I do think that short was very good--although I didn't see the others in its category--I find it interesting that Rango is still receiving a relatively poor score on the site. Is this a case of the best of a relatively poor round of movies last year or is there a certain novelty factor that's giving it the edge? Guess I'll have to get around to seeing it now.

Also, have people seen the new trailer for Brave yet?

There's a bit of a kerfuffle going on the internet concerning Itunes' sanitizing of the opening of The Last Roundup, especially around the character Derpy.

Old version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcgcO4HD5rE&list=FLn-OXKUWaWMz-ZoGEvkxv6w&index=1&feature=plpp_video

New version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2CRjPO73Dg

As a fan of the original Derpy, and especially what her inclusion represented, I must say I'm disappointed in this change, not just because they made her sound generic but because that split second animation delay makes the whole thing seem poorly timed.  It also sounds like they used one of rejected takes for Rainbow Dash, making her sound diluted and tame.  I'm not one to complain too much.  This is only for Itunes, and this character was always meant to be more like a gag background character.  But the original version was supposed to be that ONE thing made specifically for the fans.  I can see why a lot of people are upset.

Rango is extremely graphics intensive, almost photorealistic.  It's also very eccentric.  It might not be for everybody.  In fact I found the humor to be kinda dry.  But it's basically a philosophical message wrapped up in a spaghetti western.

No idea about Ripping Friends.  Honestly I thought that show went off the air ten years ago, and it seemed like a rank show, almost as bad as Bobo-bo Bo-bobobo.

I DID see the new trailer of Brave on the Disney Channel.  It looks like a good movie.

BTW, what was Rango up against?

Rango was up against... (I just happened to be watching Oscar speeches when I saw your post come up on the forum)...

A Cat in Paris
Chico & Rita
Kung Fu Panda 2
Puss in Boots

So two foreign films, two Dreamworks films and no Pixar entry at all.

Derpy

Wow, what the heck is with the Derpy change?? I thought the original was fabulous and such a great tip of the hat. I don't even really understand the need for the change. Some kind of political correct thingy against the character being made fun of for being slow?

I don't know the details of what happened concerning the change.  Itunes actually kept it off their lineup for a while.  I think it was vocal minority of soccer moms.  The DVD will still have the episode as it originally aired.

I haven't seen most of the other entries other than Kung Fu Panda 2, and my money is on that one as the better movie.

I don't think it was ever on Keyframe. Only I have the admin power to remove a profile and I certainly didn't take it down.
