sorry

Sorry didnt mean to complain its just its been a bad May for me I have been a wreck since my husband died and I thought the best way to get over it is work since this editor business is the only "job"I got  well you get the gist.

Also would it be ok to cut and paste a review he wrote years ago from imdb and put it on here since you respect reviews better than they do?

p.s  you lucky woman being able to go to an anime convention

I completely understand and will do my best to get you set up as quick as I can. Unfortunately not all the admin bits are totally done yet which is why there needs to be a bit more explanation before you get rolling.

I'm really sorry to hear about your husband, but yes, you may post a review by him under your account provided that you just make a note of it in your review that it was written by him.

I just got back from being at Anime Explosion all day. I've never been to an anime con before and all I can really say at this point is holy crap. I've been to some scifi conventions in my day, but the scope of this thing blows those cons out of the water. I'm just transferring all the photos and video clips from today off my camera. (Note to self: 4Gig SD card really not good enough). I'll be writing up a con report and posting it to our news area hopefully sometime tomorrow while everything is still fresh in my memory.

Edit

I miss being an editor (I was the first one Athena appointed), but I threw sh*t-fits and resigned twice, and I have to face the fact that it could happen again. Maybe I could write profiles and give them to someone else to post, though maybe that'd be too complicated.

And you were a great editor Loop, but I think it's fair to say that when you and I disagree it tends to be rather explosively. Keyframe's my baby and that doesn't exactly make me totally rational either.

I'd offer to take your profile info to put up, but I think you'd probably agree that my time would be best spent finishing up the remaining code centric things like the missing pieces of the forum.

LOL, yeah we were a bit explosive. Maybe because we're opposite signs on the Zodiac, but OTOH lots of my best friends have been Pisces.  Or maybe I'm just volatile. Dunno. Well, to be frank, you were a bit volatile, too. Nevermind. It's a pity, though.

Oh, believe me I know and that's not something I'm exactly proud of either. When it comes to Keyframe, I just don't see straight sometimes...

Duet

You just reminded me of a Kinks song by the Davies Brothers, called 'Love/Hate: a Duet'.*  But anyway, it would be sort of cool if you had an editor from each continent (excluding Antartica). At the moment you're missing South America, Australia and Europe (unless Starlac considers UK part of Europe, and I better not go there) and Africa.

*actually, it was called 'Hate: a Duet', but it was tongue in cheek

Flame Alert for GreyKitty

Hi Greykitty,

I'd like to welcome myself to this forum by flaming you for suggesting that people shouldn't bring KIDS to a KIDS movie in your Up! Review. Why don't you go see it at a later time? Obviously you don't have kids, so perhaps you want to ask a parent what they think would be a good time for you to avoid running across them.

Greetings Malice

Malice... well, you seem to be living up to your name there...

This is a reminder that we do not tolerate flaming or personal attacks anywhere on Keyframe. You want to open a discussion about the merits of attending a later show to avoid the kiddie crowd, then fine... but as the purpose of your message seems to be to simply pick a fight, this is where I have to step in.

Consider this your one warning. You do it again and your account will be banned.

I have no interest in picking a fight, I just found the comment profoundly self involved.

Gundam

Full size Gundam (yes, 1/1 scale), currently protecting Tokyo. The article says it moves, but all it really does is turn its head back and forth. Still kinda cool.

Who in the heck has enough free time to build a full scale model of a Gundam?  Maybe next they'll try a full scale model of Godzilla.  XD

I waited and waited to see if it came back online, but it seems like one of my favorite forums to visit, Animated Lust, is officially dead.  I visited it one day last week only to be greeted by a big banner saying "Hacked by Pit10".  I formed so many memories there.  It just celebrated its 10th anniversary, and I've been there since almost the beginning, watching it go through its many changes.  Let's hope no disaster strikes this fine website.

Gundam robot

I read about that Gundam robot back in April, in Edge Magazine, I though nothing of it at the time, not having much interest in the series; for the record it is part of Gundam's 30th anniversity celebrations and was built by Bandai.
