The Great Rupert
As Christmas time draws near, a down on their luck family (led by Jimmy Durante) move into a new apartment, where Rupert the Squirrel lives in the attic. It seems there will be no joy this Christmas - not even a tree - but Rupert turns out to be the family's guardian angel in this musical holiday feature.

Apparently, George Pal's stop motion 'puppetry' was so convincing in 1950 that the studio was approached by agents wanting to book the dancing squirrel.
George Pal's first feature film.
