The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley
Martin Short teamed up with Hanna Barbera to turn his Ed Grimley character from Canada's SCTV into an animated series. Ed is "a sweetly nerdy guy who lives in a funky Victorian apartment with his goldfish Moby and clever rat Sheldon. Storylines include his encounters with the cranky Mr. Freebus, Ed's landlord; Miss Malone, his gorgeous neighbor; the Truly Remarkable Gustav Brothers - Roger and Wendell, identical twins who look nothing alike; and Ed's favorite television program, Count Floyd and his "Really Scaaary Stories Show." Ed's catchphrase is "I must say!"
