The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin
After discovering an ancient map, Teddy, a illiop and his octopede friend Grubby travel to the land of Gundo, searching for the Hard-to-find City and the treasure of Grundo. They are joined by the inventor Newton Gimmick and his flying airship. Once they find the treasure their real adventures begin.

This series wasn't bad but it didn't quite made it big enough to last. I don't remember the story very well.
