Strawberry Shortcake and the Baby Without a Name

It is summer and Strawberry Shortcake has invited some of her friends over for a swim in her pool. Strawberry mentions that she has received a telegram from Plum Puddin. Plum Puddin and Elderberry Owl are returning from a long vacation just in time for Strawberry's camping trip. Plum Puddin also brings along two new friends, Peach Blush and a baby without a name. On the camping trip, Plum Puddin spots what looks like the foot print of a giant monster. The Peculiar Purple Pie Man of Porcupine Peak is also aware of the giant foot print and wants to stay as far away from the "monster" as possible. But Sour Grapes sees an opportunity to make some money by capturing the creature.

Strange as it may seem, but this special is hands down the most fun you'll likely ever see in the original 80s Strawberry Shortcake. Housewarming Surprise probably has the better...

This special marks the first appearance of Plum Puddin since the very first special, The World of Strawberry Shortcake. In that special, Plum Puddin was a boy. After being missing in action for the next few specials, Plum Puddin finally makes an appearance, but this time apparently retconned as a girl.
