Saludos Amigos

A travelogue of South America, Saludos Amigos consists of four animated shorts connected by live action segments. Disney animators tour South America in live action sequences, sequeing into animated segments. Produced largely as a goodwill gesture to Latin America during World War II, it introduced the parrot Joe Carioca, who would go on to star with Donald and Panchito in 'The Three Caballeros' two years later.
