Precious Pupp
Precious Pupp © Hanna-Barbera

Precious Pupp, whose wheezy snigger would later be recycled by Hanna Barbera for Muttley, was the cute and loveable pet of the very rich Granny Sweet. However, PP is actually cunning and quite ruthless to anyone who gets on his bad side, which is most of the incidental characters. Granny Sweet remains oblivious to this, and is devoted to P. Pupp. It should be noted that Granny's penchant for riding motorcyles and surfing probably makes her a rather formidable grandmother in her own right

Of Interest:

Yes, Granny Sweet was 'Queen of the Drags'

Was part of 'The Atom Ant Show' along with The Hillbilly Bears, and also on the hour-long 'Atom Ant/ Squirrel Show. Also on 'The Banana Splits Show' (the hour long version).

Don Messick seems to have nailed down the canine voice place at Hanna Babera at this time (well the ones who sort of half-talked anyway), voicing Precious Pupp, Astro (from The Jetsons), Scooby Doo, and a little later, Muttley.
