One Christmas, two young squirrels ask their grandpa what the men in the song “Peace on earth, Goodwill to Men” are. Their grandpa weaves a tale of how mankind’s desire to fight themselves ultimately lead to their destruction.

William Hanna and Joe Barbera remade the short in cinemascope in 1955, this new version was titled 'Goodwill to Men'.
