short film Knick Knack © PixarIn the original 1989 version, (available on the Tin Toy Stories VHS tape), the two female characters in the film--the sunbather and the mermaid--were substantially more "endowed". Think two crudely shaped, grapefruit size spheres stuck to their chests, with the mermaid topping hers with a pair of starfish. By the time the short was re-released with Finding Nemo, both of the female characters became flatchested and the mermaid now sports a clamshell bra similar to that of Ariel's in The Little Mermaid. Personally I think they should've left it as it was since the ridiculousness of their breasts was a great little sight-gag.

Knick Knack is also included as an extra on the Finding Nemo DVD.
