animated cartoon Herr Meets Hare © Warner Bros. The first cartoon where Bugs Bunny states that he should've taken a left turn at Albuquerque; however due to short's subject matter this cartoon was not aired on television, leaving Frigid Hare with that honour, albeit erroneously.

The short contains references to Wagner's Ring Cycle years before Chuck's Jones' What’s Opera Doc? with Bugs crossdressing as the Valkyrie Brunhilde and also has a brief reference to Disney's Der Fueher's Face.
