Dr. Seuss' The Lorax
12-year-old Ted would do anything to win the heart of Audrey. When he learns of her interest in trees, he vows to find her one to give to her. Unfortunately in the plastic world of Thneeville, no one has seen a living tree for a very, very long time. Ted journeys into the polluted wasteland outside the town to find the Once-ler in the hopes he can him where a living tree might be found. Through the Once-ler's tale we learn of the Lorax, the grumpy little creature that speaks for the trees. He was once the Once-ler's friend, before it all went horribly wrong.
