Air

Yukito Kunisaki is a lone traveler, making what living he can by entertaining people with a small puppet he animates telekinetically. He is searching for "The Girl in the Sky", a legend told to him by his mother, who died trying to find her; but the search has left him homeless, broke and starving. He meets Misuzu Kamio, who offers him food and a place to stay, as well as her dreams of living amongst the clouds.
