A Scanner Darkly

Bob Arctor is a narcotics detective who, in his undercover role is a user and dealer of the highly addictive and dangerous narcotic 'Substance D'. Arctor's personality fragments as a result of the drug, and reality breaks down when his 'real life' persona is put on the case of his drug-dealing persona. Effectively he has to spy on himself.
