The original short film that would later inspire the feature film of the same name. 9 is a lonely rag doll creature who once had a kind friend and mentor known as 5. When 5 is killed by a mechanical, soul-stealing monster, 9 takes it upon himself fight the beast for the soul of his friend.

Normally I wouldn't go to see these types of movies, but I was interested. The characters were cute and you just became attached to them.

9 competently sets the tone for the upcoming movie. Unlike the movie, it contains no dialogue. By the time the ten minutes are over with, however, chills would've been sent...
